Every Girl Should Do These 5 Things On Their First Date

Smooth legs – Check. Deo in place – Check. Fresh coat of nail paint – Check. Perfumed hair – Check. Butterflies flapping in the stomach – Check. And you are ready for the first date! Well, almost ready. Other than looking your best, a first date is the time to let the guy see the person in you and for you to read the person in him to see if things could be taken forward. Because first dates are the first big impression you leave on the special guy and the insights you gain from the first date are expected to lay the groundwork for understanding the future of your relationship.

So if you really want to make the groundwork we will tell you the right things to do on a first date with a guy. There are some first date do’s and don’ts you need to follow that would help you create that impression and give a glimpse into who you really are.

5 Things Every Girl Should Do On Their First Date

Having said that, if a first date goes terribly wrong, it’s safe to say it indeed is a warning that you two are probably not meant to work it out together. Hence it’s certainly important that you do a few things right to make sure you make the most of your first date. There is no denying the fact that the first date comes with a lot of expectations from both ends so our first date tips for girls can come in really handy. Here are 5 important tips.

1. Carry cash and go Dutch

There is no bigger turn-on for a guy than going out with a girl who likes to pay for her share. It’s also a b-i-g boost for the feminist in you. It doesn’t matter if he chooses to be chivalrous and rejects your offer; it’s your gesture that counts. Remember, just because he is a guy he is not entitled to pay for you. Just like, even if he pays for you, you are not entitled to have sex with him. It’s a two-way street.

But if he agrees to split the bill you have reason to feel good about it. For starters you paid a share in the good time you had together and there is no obligation if things don’t go great after the first date. So the advice for girls on a first date is to always carry enough cash so that you can pay your share. Most importantly, don’t offer, and then hope he wouldn’t allow you to pay. He would know you are being fake.

2. Show good behaviour to people around you

You know how they say, your behaviour towards the servers define your personality? It’s true in all facets of life – including your first date. If you are not being nice to the waiter it could be quickly perceived as a relationship red flag by your date. Be warm to the Uber driver, the waiters, the elevator man, and the elderly people who bump into you on the street. It makes a huge impression on the guy when he sees you being gracious to strangers around you. But genuinely believe in treating people good, don’t try to be what you are not.

4. Be a conversationalist

The idea of a date is you two get to talk. Don’t be a grouch who sits there acting bored. Engage in a good conversation instead. But don’t make it all about you and blab.
